Our school has created an Arabic Curriculum that introduces 5 Arabic words each week. Words are grouped by a weekly topic and a 4 week long overall theme that mimics our science and history topics. Students are supplied with take-home workbooks and CD’s that contain all of the words. In the classroom, students use Montessori-inspired 3-part cards to study weekly vocabulary. Students also work together to complete writing and drawing assignments to review the weekly vocabulary. Once a theme is completed, the words are added to our Arabic word-wall.
