Students used 3-part cards and simple wooden puzzles to study different types of landforms and bodies of water. They noticed that these cards could be paired up to make opposites. After choosing a landform (ex. peninsula) students found the body of water that is the opposite (ex. gulf). Students drew these landforms and bodies of water in their journals and labeled them. Then they used a sand and water mixture to build models.
