Cooking classes are held every Wednesday morning with Mrs. Samia. The class is divided into two groups and they alternate weeks. Each week, students complete recipes under the supervisions and guidance of the teacher. After being taught necessary skills, students are given most of the responsibilities in the kitchen, including cleanup. We plan to gradually create a classroom cookbook. The overall goal of the cooking classes is to allow students to further develop skills they have learned in the classroom and additional practical life skills that are useful in the kitchen.
